Se7e Pedras

Se7e Pedras was the early dinner of choice after a nice relaxing day at Ilha Deserta (deserted Island) next to Faro. From the moment you walk in you can sense it is a fun place for young people and while it didn’t have the best food in town it wasn’t bad for price and the atmosphere especially later in the evening makes it a must visit place in Faro.

Booking:  I don’t think you’d need it.

Interior and Ambiance: I sat outside to enjoy the weather, the weather was just too good to sit inside with sun setting. Interior was quite American diner style with realxed seating and spacious interior with a good choice of sitting informally or making it more of a proper dinner.

The menu had a few different options to choose from but I was told to go with the Tapas menu and that’s exactly what I did.

Scallops with mango & caramelized onions – I loved the combo but the only issue was scallops being slightly chewy as a result of overcooking. It was still very delicious.

Goat cheese with jam and nuts – I don’t think I can let go of this anywhere in the world. I love goat cheese and I absolutely love what jam does to warm goat cheese. This was no exception.

Chicken Wings – Slightly dry but the sauce made them perfect. Throw in a Caipirinha and you will love these.

Garlic Prawns – Absolutely delicious and very nicely done.
