Yumchaa

If you want some exotic teas in London, Yumchaa is your place and with a few shops around central and more stalls around you can’t miss it. My favourite is their Soho shop which I discovered in summer of last year while looking for a place to sit in overcrowded Soho.

I have since then, been there a lot of times in search of some interesting tea combos as well as some cosy conversations. The cafe is quite simple but the most interesting aspect is that you can see and smell the organic loose leaf teas before you decide to get them hot or cold.

My favourite is berry berry nice which is a mix of berrys with a hint of vanilla and also Gentle Giant. The teas are mainly of three types, black teas, green teas, white teas and Red teas (Rooibos and Tisanes). You pick your tea and grab a seat and you will be called soon with the beautiful kettle and cup or chilled tea with ice whichever is your type. Normally it is best to steep it for 2-3 minutes depending on how strong you want it and then sit back, relax and enjoy some amazing time.

Yumchaa is like a friend to me with the great selection of teas and I’d definitely recommend it for a visit.
