This modern Swedish restaurant came highly recommended by my friends in Stockholm. Located in a nice and calm neighborhood, this Michelin Star boasts some great Swedish Fusion food with a touch of modernity.
The seating area in Rolfs Kök resembles more of a cafe than a restaurant but it is very cozy and on request we were provided window seats which made the eating experience quite interesting. The menu was quite condensed with a few very interesting choices and we decided to go with braised Ox cheeks and snails for starters.
The food was an interesting experience; snails have always been my favourite but the braised Ox Cheeks with great red wine pairing with soft bread and butter absolutely made me understand why this is a Michelin star restaurant.
I got up feeling absolutely satisfied without a heavy stomach and a lighter pocket, the combination of Michelin star holder and located in Stockholm city center make this place expensive but the experience it offers makes it a must visit in Stockholm.
