Lattitude 31

Through the narrow alley ways of Old Medina in Marrakech, you walk towards Majorelle Garden and out pops a beautiful courtyard based restaurant; Latitude 31. This restaurant is like a little Oasis in desert, the sunlight in November is perfectly warm and amazing juices and virgin cocktails cool you down while you decide which Moroccan delicacies to fill your stomach with.
The menu is quite compact and offers a great selection. A very refreshing aspect is use of lots of fruit and dried fruit in food.
We ordered some Pastilla with Almonds and a tangy sauce for starters and man was it delicious!
For mains we chose a chicken tagine with herbs and mixed grill with Atlas mountain herbs marination. Tagine was delicious albeit the grill was slightly more dry than expected.
The food was quite filling and we were full before we even finished the food.
The rest of time was spent sipping Mango juice and some Lemon twist tea.
The place has a beautiful interior, great quality of food and drinks, Latitude 31 is a must stop on the way or back from Majorelle Garden, whenever you’re in Marrakech.
