This amazing pizzeria sits a little outside Rome city center. It took me 40 minutes by public transport to get to In Fucina but it was totally worth it. In a city full of pizzerias this stood out because of unique style, perfectly baked pizzas with so much variety you definitely get up satisfied. The restaurant is family run and very cozy.
On arrival you are greeted with a very warm smile and this continues throughout your visit. This place had one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in my life.
I had the pizza with mushroom base with pistachios and mortadella. It was baked to perfection and before I realized I ate the whole pizza without thinking about carbs. Since there’s no tomato base it was very crispy with true Italian finish. There was no grease and no heavy feeling afterwards.
Price wise the place is medium expensive and taste wise simply AMAZING!!! If you happen to go to Rome make sure to pay a visit to In Fucina.
